I used to use glue and that just wasn't working and I tries using double sided scotch tape but it was not adhesive enough and was somewhat hard to work with. This runner though makes it SOO easy to adhere my pictures and other paper materials to my journal and I know they will never fall out. I will never go back to using glue and double sided tape ever again honestly. It takes the effort out of pasting items in my bullet journal and scrapbooks which is the #1 thing that I was getting annoyed about before I had this product. I tried using this on a material that was to soft one time and the tape kind of got messed up, so I will just have to open it up and get it on it's track again.
