I have a kindergarten kid, a preschooler and a baby, and I can read this to all 3 of them together without there being any distractions or tears. There are tons of flaps! The stories are condensed with the Scripture verses given for reference. My kids have noticed that all the characters look extremely similar, which they both then explained to themselves that of course they look similar, since they're all family for the most part.. it bothered me more than it bothered them lol. I've caught all of them sharing the book, my kindergartener reading the story and my middle kid flipping the flaps patiently. It's a really nice book. Review: My granddaughter's first Bible - My granddaughter loves this lift the flap Bible. She already recognizes Jesus in each of the stories that he is featured in. She wants Jesus to be her friend too, and she loves for me to retell the story of Jesus calming the wind and the waves. She also likes the one with Jesus walking on water. This is a great evangelism tool for the youngest children. I believe my granddaughters faith as she asks for her Bible every time she visits and she has prayed with me, and told her mother that Jesus saved her. I would give this a 10 star if was able. I bought it for my six year old grandson for Easter and the eight year old grandson accidentally found it. He started looking at it and opening the flaps. Went through the entire book. He read it two more times that day. He was looking at it the next day so I offered to read it.
