**Q: Will it kill my fish?**
A: Sorry i bothered buying this. Not only did it not clear out planaria, even after treating twice, but in the past 24 hours 5 cardinal tetra got the look of fin rot but really onset quickly, stone dead next morning. I got planaria after setting up a new filter, used media from old filter but still had a loss of bio. I do 50% pwc weekly so thought the bio would be ok. Anyway planaria kicked off after that. Not impressed. Just doing a food ban for a few days and pwc every day till planaria clear. Do not buy this. Oh and when i say new filter, it has been set up 7 weeks with mature media, so not like i did it yesterday and the fish died due to that, i can only link it to planaria treatment. Long winded, sorry.

**Q: Will it harm assassin snails?**
A: Some snails are affected by it. So it might be a good idea to remove the assassins during treatment.

**Q: What is the active ingredient? Has anyone used this product for freshwater Hydra successfully?**
A: The active ingredient is betel nut extract. It's 100% natural and will suffocate planaria as well as hydra. Even though it's a purely natural product, it is important to not over dose, rather dose a little bit less. Often the treatment is effective after only two days. A good aeration in the aquarium is advisable to not endanger the inhabitants. Please note that the treatment is dangerous for most ornamental snails. Depending on the amount of hydra and planaria being killed, water quality will suffer (ammonia/nitrite/nitrate spike), so generous water changes after treatment and constant monitoring of parameters are important.

**Q: Will it kill Malaysian trumpet snails?**
A: It killed all my snails so I would not use! Change water and put in another tank if poss good luck!
