Two of the stories in this book, Yertle the Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz, were some of my favorites growing up and I love sharing them with my grandchildren now. The fact that they love them six decades after I fell in love with them prove these are true gems for children. I do have to say the seller was fantastic. The book was in my hands less than 24 hours after being ordered. Talk about great service!

What can I say? Two of the stories in this book, Yertle the Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz, were some of my favorites growing up and I love sharing them with my grandchildren now. The fact that they love them six decades after I fell in love with them prove these are true gems for children. I do have to say the seller was fantastic. The book was in my hands less than 24 hours after being ordered. Talk about great service!

Ah, Yertle the turtle! A very fine and fun Seuss story of a turtle who wanted to be king of all he surveyed! So he stacked turtles high up and was proud of what he saw. But as they say, pride goes before a - what? Don't give the story up? Ok - then read this book for this and a couple more wonderful Seuss stories!
