I had previously been unable to stay asleep, last night I went through and was awoken by the alarm. I was also having to attend a training course, which I was dreading, but again felt much more positive after a couple of sessions with the audio. I think this is being more effective than reading a book, but guess they are both re-enforcing the same messages. As a self-help option feels like a safe option, and feels personal. I also like the introductory explanations. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ guided relaxation and mindfulness mediation and I have to say I feel as though I have made my first step into becoming a happier *by J***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 April 2017* Hi, just wanting to say that I have nearly done my first week of listening to Mark's cds. I have 4 cds, overcome anxiety, overcome depression, guided relaxation and mindfulness mediation and I have to say I feel as though I have made my first step into becoming a happier person with myself. I have suffered with depression and anxiety what feels like all my life, I take medicine and I do visualization mediation (lapsed) can't seem to grasp the controlled breathing mediation, anyway I spend a lot of time at home, personal reasons, and I just felt I wasn't getting anywhere with controlling my depression and I was in this deep well of negativity and couldn't find a way out. Right, the point of this review is how good Mark's cds are, I listen to overcome depression during the day then mindfulness mediation at night, then the next day I listen to overcome anxiety during the day and relaxation at night. I did wonder if 4 different cds is too much but it seems to be working for me and I don't even get worked up when I can't do the day cd for some reason, major step for me. I am going to this system for a few weeks, then chose my favourite cds for daily use and the others every now and again, well that is my plan. The main thing I enjoy about these cds is, it sounds as though he is in the room with you, you are not alone in this, there is someone helping you. Also I know Mark is selling his cds but he also sends you attachments to read to get the best out the cds and asks you if you have any problems to let him know, which I will be doing soon for some advice. For me Mark's cds is money well spent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic hypnosis CD *by F***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2021* I ordered this a few years ago, and couldn't find it when I was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, so have re-ordered it. Mark's self-hypnosis CDs are absolutely fantastic - and I particularly like the fact that there are two versions on each CD, one for the daytime, and one for the evening/nighttime so you can choose how you feel when you have finished the sessions (i.e. alert for the daytime or relaxed for the evening). I have used a few of his CDs over the years and have recommended them to friends at times as well as my daughter when she was struggling. Not only are his CDs fantastic, Mark was incredibly helpful himself when I asked whether it was possible to get the MP3 / App while I was waiting for delivery.
