The BIGTREETECH TFT35 V3.0.1 is a high-performance 3D printer touchscreen display featuring a 120 MHz 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 CPU. ## Description

Board specifications: Size: 110x58mm Input voltage: 5V DC Installation size:103.76 * 49.43 mm Notes: 1. When using 12864 screen mode, connect the port EXP1 and EXP2 to the motherboard. There is no touch function in this mode. (If you want to use the SKR MINI E3 or SKR E3 DIP, just connect EXP3 to the motherboard.) 2. When using serial port screen mode, connect with TFT or aux-2 on the motherboard via RS232. This mode has touch function. 3. Two work modes can be changed by one key. Press the rotary encoder for about 3 seconds until the mode selection page appears, then press the encoder after selecting Onboard LED information: - Red light D2 is the power indicator; it is on when the board is powered. - Red light D1 is SD card detection indicator; it is on when a SD card isinserted. Firmware: The screen will be shipped with a test firmware, it can be used directly. The firmware is customizable according to your needs. You can find the needed firmware files on our Github page: Please search BIGTREETECH at GitHub Firmware update method: Firmware file name： BIGTREE_TFT35_V3.0.1(version number).bin Fonts & icons folder name: TFT35 First copy the above firmware and TFT35 folder to SD root directory, and then insert the card into the SD card slot of the board. Review: Perfect mate to BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 V3.0 - I just got an Ender 5 Plus, that I wanted to make modern. I got a BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0, and one of the Mini12864 displays. As it turns out, that mainboard can't use the Mini12864 without building a custom cable. This display works great. There's some technical stuff that I had to dig around for. Here it is. For 12864 mode, it needs the cable going to the 3RD display port, and you need this enabled in your firmware. #define CR10_STOCKDISPLAY For the TFT mode, they did this in an interesting way. You don't need to enable anything, the TFT just sends gcodes and shows you the result. You do need to have all your serial ports working though. #define SERIAL_PORT 2 #define BAUDRATE 115200 #define SERIAL_PORT_2 1 #define BAUDRATE_2 115200 #define SERIAL_PORT_3 -1 #define BAUDRATE_3 115200 With those serial ports, I have the 12864 mode, TFT mode, and Octoprint attached by USB. I use the SD card for printing and the LCD Audi shows the full long file names which is a vast improvement. If you like the old style display, this screen can emulate that too. Be sure to get the latest firmware. There are several cases out there too.

**Q: Can this be used with an skr 1.4 mainboard and a raspberry pi running octopi?**
A: Absolutely

**Q: Will this work with the skr mini e3 v2.0?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is this compatible with an ender 5 plus?**
A: I replaced my Ender 3 motherboard with the bigtreetech SKR mini E3 V2 before replacing the screen, so I am not positive on this. I think it will work, but I was unable to get the motherboard working with the original screen (even though it supposedly can), so it might just cause headaches. Nothwithstanding, I don't know of any major differences between the stock Ender 3 and the stock Ender 5 pro motherboards, so it should work with the Ender 5 line. If you haven't already, ask Reddit or look at the product descriptions on the BigTreeTech website for compatibility. It could be that I just bought the wrong item first and the screen works just fine with the stock motherboard.

**Q: Will this work on an Ender 3 Max?**
A: If the max has a BTT MB with updated firmware designed for the screen, and you design / print an enclosure for the screen it will. I do t have a max but from what I can see it’s not a 1:1 swap

I just got an Ender 5 Plus, that I wanted to make modern. I got a BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0, and one of the Mini12864 displays. As it turns out, that mainboard can't use the Mini12864 without building a custom cable. This display works great. There's some technical stuff that I had to dig around for. Here it is.
