At 60+ years old -- and perhaps 20 pounds overweight --and always sitting in front of my computer - boxer briefs ride up on my upper highs and start itching because of the elastic leaving an irritating indentation/mark. Boxers don't keep anything in place (Young guys you will find out). Briefs keep everything secure and where they should be. Stafford makes a good solid product and wears quite long. My family will throw them out before I do, ' cause they get very comfortable and mold to my body.

Even the waistband is not too tight, nor is it made of synthetics that irritate. This underwear ticks all the boxes. I have tried them ALL (dozens of brands!) This is the only brand that I've found with nothing to complain about. Nothing rubs you the wrong way. I wear them all day, even exercise in them and I don't have to think about them. That's what you want.

**Q: are these mid rise? Why it is NOT labeled properly.**
A: It is labeled properly. These are low-rise waistline. Good for a person who doesn't want mid-rise. Especially good for a man like me with a big belly. I don't want to purchase a larger size mid-rise to stretch the waistband over my belly, so I purchased these low-rise briefs and they fit very nicely just below my belly.

**Q: do these keep your junk in?**
A: YUP!!!

**Q: Need 36 inch waist, what size should I order?**
A: Order XL size. They will shrink when washed..

**Q: What waist size is small?  Is it 32 inches?**
A: No way is a 32 inch waist a size small. I’m a 29 waist and after one wash I could barely get my stuff into them. Go with the medium for sure!
