I'm looking for something to keep my horse's hoof integrity in the mud. Thanks!** A: It works best if you can have the horse stand in a dry area for 15-30 minutes before applying. Then let the oils absorbed for 15 minutes or so before going back out into the mud. The oils will help keep the hoof healthy and help prevent funky stuff from happening. It is not a water proofer **Q: Will this help raggedy frogs and split heel bulbs? I don't smell anything thrush-y.** A: As advised by our barn-manager/trainer, I have use this product after cleaning thoroughly the hooves , once the weather changes to rain, mud and snow. I was told that It pulls out the humidity / wetness out of the hooves, and it helps against thrush - provided it is not already ingrained!
