After having purchased the Kanto YU6 speakers which I was very happy with the sound quality I thought heck what the hell let's splash out on the the matching sub woofer also. Buying this sub woofer was the one of the best decisions I made in a long time the added low frequencies that this can generate has taken listening and viewing pleasure to a complete new level as the system is hooked up to my TV via optical output. **Q: Hello, i'm confused about the stereo inputs. my yu5's only have a single output for sub. am i only supposed to use the left or the right on the sub?**

**Q: Using with kanto yu6 speakers.  what crossover frequency should i use on the sub?**
A: You want to choose a crossover setting on the SUB8 where the YU6's start losing steam. The bass on the YU6 is pretty strong until 70 Hz and then it starts tapering off. I think a good place to start is about 70 Hz but you can adjust it higher or lower depending on what you think sounds best. Your goal is to have the sub integrate into the system so well that the sub "disappears" and it sounds like the music is only coming from the speakers. Hope that helps! A: Software Maniac,All our subwoofers and speakers work well together. Attached the provided RCA cable to the single RCA output on the YU2 to either the R or L input on the subwoofer. Feel free to contact us directly using the support button on our website if you need any additional info, thanks.

A small compact sub that punches well above its weight. After having purchased the Kanto YU6 speakers which I was very happy with the sound quality I thought heck what the hell let's splash out on the the matching sub woofer also. Buying this sub woofer was the one of the best decisions I made in a long time the added low frequencies that this can generate has taken listening and viewing pleasure to a complete new level as the system is hooked up to my TV via optical output. Excellent subwoofer, more than I wanted to pay for a secondary system but works so well and balanced with the U6 bookshelf speakers. KEF you can eat your heart out. I tried the LSX Wireless, very bad value by comparison (I've been buying and selling hifi for 35 years). Couldn't recommend this sub more... and Kanto especially
