I have been trying to find something that would prevent me from using all those chemicals and still leave my hair looking good. I applied the first 3 treatments in 8-10 day periods and didn't really notice a big difference in the appearance. However, after just one treatment, I immediately noticed that my hair was breaking less and that it was easier to manage. I made the mixture just as the directions suggested the first 2 times. It was really so thick that I had to be careful when applying it not to try to smooth it because the hair would come out with it. The 3rd time, I added about a teaspoonful of water to the rose water and it made the mixture thinner and easier to apply.My hair is pretty long (a few inches below my shoulders), and unlike most of the reviews I read, one jar was enough to cover all of the hair if applied properly. My hair is not very thick so that might have made a difference. Usually, my hair gets very tangled when I wash it. The conditioner took all of the tangles out...amazing really!!! I have not been using the product for very long so I cannot honestly say that I have seen a big difference. I will continue to use it for a while and see what happens. I am using it simultaneously on my daughter's hair. Her roots were a bit thicker than mine and it did loosen the hair somewhat though not as much as I had hoped.I still need to find something to use in between washes to take away the dryness of the hair though. It doesn't dry it out, but it does not moisturize the hair either. I have been using regular hair greases and I mix in some olive oil, vitamin E oil and castor oil. However, I don't like the smell so I will keep on looking for a good moisturizing hair cream. (I have not tried this brand because I read somewhere that shea butter is not good for the hair. However, I don't know if that is true).I like that my hair seems stronger only after such a short time. A small amount of shampoo and conditioner do the job because they are concentrated. Despite the small size, they go a long way.
