A nice upgrade
Seems to work very well. The controller's do fit very nicely on the charging station (unlike my previous charging setup) and they stay put!

Charges my controllers perfectly.
Works as advertise. Comes with battery doors for different version of the Xbox controller, wish it came in black and white as well.the controller fit nicely on the charger without much play in it.Overall, it is exactly what I needed to keep my controllers running.Might need another one since I have more controllers!

This is the one: a helpful review
Here's the thing, I wanted a charging dock for my Xbox Series X controllers. So, I did what any person does nowadays, I searched for reviews... and then I searched for more reviews and then more. Spoiler, reviews were shockingly limited unhelpful. So, here is a helpful review.1. quality - this charger feels solid and is easy to use; the controller fits on the dock easily, doesn't feel unstable or tippy. The led "breathes" to let you know it's charging and turns solid once charged. I've never struggled to connect the controller properly or fumbled with putting them on.2. charging time - I haven't timed it (sorry?) but it's fast and you can charge both at once or only one at a time.3. battery life - hours... I can't say more or I'll sound even less like I have a life than I do now, but it's hours.4. battery covers - it comes with two one for the X and one for the Series X. They fit perfectly and they even look good on the blue controllers. The gap in the cover for the connection to the dock isn't too much. It's not too ugly and it doesn't interfere with use or plugging the controller in by usb-c.5. usb - here's my biggest complaint, the plug for the dock is not usb, so you must use the cable it comes with, you can't use another cable and have to have a wall plug nearby. It was fine for me, but if you're out of room on your power strip, you have my sympathies.6. battery - this one has the largest battery that I could find out of all the charging docks, so that's a plus.7. licensed - it's officially approved by Xbox, so I don't have to worry about it killing my $60 controllers.8. size - it's not tiny, but it doesn't take up unnecessary space, it isn't too tall or too long, pretty much perfect for storing / charging 2 controllers.9. color - it only comes in black, which is fine because it matches my Xbox, but if you wanted it in white or to match your controller, it's not going to happen. This is the charging dock to buy if you want to charge 2 controllers. It's easy to use, has a good battery life, doesn't take up too much space, quick charging, and looks cool. I appreciate the peace of mind of knowing Xbox was ok with it and the fact that I can store my controllers on it and not worry about where they are or if they've been charged lately.

Great charger and great customer service
I've been using this charger for my xbox series X controllers for almost 2 years. It has worked flawlessly for me. I have not had any issues getting the controllers to charge. I play almost daily and the batteries will last for several nights of gaming, I'd guess 10-12+ hours per charge. I have 2 controllers and just rotate them whenever the battery is depleted on the one that I am using.Recently, one of the batteries has stopped holding a charge (again, after almost 2 years of daily gaming). I was surprised that I could not find a replacement battery from HyperX. I reached out to customer service and sent them my Amazon invoice for the charger. Since I was within the 2 year warranty, they sent out an entire new charger with new battery packs. That's excellent customer service.

Excellent Ergonomics but Does Not Work with (new) Xbox Controller
I've tried various chargers from off brand manufacturers with hit and miss success. Decided to scrap all the batteries and old systems in favor of the brand name Hyper-X. Since this is an early post-purchase review (Dec 2020), I don't have much info on battery life, etc. but can talk about ergonomics and build quality.Ergonomics:This charging station works with the standard Xbox controller up to Xbox One X (most recent last gen). Surprisingly, it also work with the original Xbox Elite Controller... and here's the trick... WITH the back paddles attached. In many charging stations, you have to remove the back paddles for the Elite. Not the case here. I'm unsure about the Xbox Elite 2 since I could not test that but *suspect* it works. Finally, this charging station *does not* work with the new Xbox Series X/S controllers. Why? The general format appears the same; however, the Hyper-X battery cover tabs do not line up with the new controller slots. It's possible you could *maybe* hack something together which would work but that isn't my cup o' tea.Build Quality:Very nice quality plastics. The stand has robust no-slip feet, the battery cover lines up the controller with the charging points easily (no fussing around trying to line things up), and the batteries themselves are well crafted and fit perfect in the available battery slot. There is an LED indicator letting you know when things are ready to go. A minor quibble would be the light is flashing or solid white vs. red to green but not a huge deal for me, might be for you.TL;DRVery happy thus far. Great build quality. Doesn't work with current gen Xbox Core controller. Works with last gen standard controller and Xbox Elite w/ paddles attached. Enjoy.
