Already confirmed current was reaching the internals of a small CCTV camera, repaired a plug-in charger having identified an internal break in a cable and tested several batteries. Ive also used the 'hidden cable location' feature before drilling a wall for new shelves. Very pleased with it. Review: Chunky - This meter was bigger than expected but seems very robust. Accuracy on all ranges is good and repeatability is excellent. The live cable sensing function (NCV) is sometimes vague and depends on depth behind wall. The temperature reading function does not work. The k type thermocouple supplied works ok but the meter itself must be faulty as it only ever reads ambient, with or without the sensor attached. Not too bothered as I wont ever use this function.
