I should’ve given my review a long time ago, this light has been amazing the light comes on and goes off by itself! The brightness has been so helpful, it recently after 4yrs of having this light it just went out! After taking it down and speaking with the company they truly validated their warranty and have a replacement on it ways! We recommend this company and product 100%

This light is of good quality and functions well. I use it for a yard light in our back yard. I replaced a 175W mercury vapor unit which served well for many years. As to why I gave it four stars instead of five? Read on. Being accustomed to the MV, I was hopeful this new one would be as good or better. This may sound odd but the new one is considerably brighter than the MV and emits a very white light compared to the bluie-ish MV. My only disappointment was that the coverage area is smaller. My yard is darker around the perimeter than it was with MV even though the new LED is much brighter. Directly underneath it’s like standing in the sun but it fades faster as you move away than the MV. I have dark corners now and didn’t with MV. I would have purchased another MV but discovered they are no longer available. Anyway, this is a good light and I’m keeping it. I like quality and function as well as the much more stylish appearance (the old MV was pretty ugly!)

We have an outdoor adventure business in a very rural location. Our office sits back in a wooded area so when the sun goes down it get very dark, very fast. We've been lighting the area with two standard outdoor fixtures that use high pressure sodium bulbs which have been adequate but when they recently began to flicker and quit working I was ready to try something new. The previous light cost $100/ea. so I was trying to replace them for the same price or less. The LEDMO LED Barn Lights were highly rated and for the price of a 3 pack the average cost was less than $90/ea. The assembly was very straight forward with a two piece neck attaching to the sealed fixture. The 3 wire power supply was attached to the existing wiring from the old lamps and after attaching it in the same location I was ready to see how the new lights worked. With the photocells placed on top of the fixtures I was a little concerned at first because the instructions stated the photocell window should be facing North but when the lights came on at twilight I found this was not necessarily absolute. Bright does not begin to describe these lights...the previous bulbs allowed you to see where you were going around the building. These LED light allowed you to read a book 50 feet into the darkness with crisp, bright light and I had only used 2 of the 3 pack lights supplied. These light were actually casting shadows on our house located 100 yards from the office. It was impressive and almost too bright. There's a tilt adjustment where the fixture meets the neck so you can adjust the light directly below your mounted area or you can tilt the light upward and direct it's beam far out in front of your building. I am very satisfied with the results and if they last for the 5 year warrantied period or longer I would definitely buy them again.

I had purchased a different security light several months ago and it was working fine. It was mounted on one of the support poles for my metal carport, aimed out toward part of the property. A few days ago it stopped working after a huge rainstorm, and it must have shorted out the dusk to dawn sensor. The sensor was integrated into the fixture so no repair. I read lots of reviews about this barn light; and after the installation I'm very pleased. One of the main reasons is that the sensor is a separate entity, and you can buy replacements. I took the suggestion from one of the reviewers and bought a 3 pack of sensors (from another company) at the same time as the light. It's sure a good thing that I did. After my handyman installed the new light, he put a towel over the sensor to test it. NOTHING. He tested the current and voltage and all was good. The sensor that came with the light was defective! And like most all of the reviewers said: This light is SUPER BRIGHT! So I highly recommend it; just plan on buying the extra sensors at the same time!

Installed this light 25 ft up on a pole, between house and garage, everything well back into a 100 acre woodlot. It adequately illuminates the ground in a 100+ ft radius. The provided mounting hardware made installation pretty easy. Had to hotwire the photocell to "always on", do not want light all night, just when i switch it on. Would have liked a shunt to replace the photocell, because if you just remove it, the socket is exposed to weather. Generally happy with the product. Just been using it a few weeks this spring, so no winter weather yet, but so far, so good. Dang, it's bright!
