## Description

This is a new design. Delicate appearance with steel construction can supports less than 10lbs (4.5kg), and it fits 1/4" 20, 4mm and 5mm of the thread size. Clamping design fastens the ball stably, then the ball design realized tilting, swing and rotating perfectly. In addition, each mount has 2 toggler bolts, so the mount can be installed on drywall/rocksheet. Review: Works on logitech z906 - I dont have a lot to say. They are speak mounts. Fit my Logitech speakers. They seem well built. but mostly, they just work. Each unit has the longer and shorter stem and are interchangable. They hold solid.
Review: MUCH Better than the cheap plastic ones (Gang Box Wall Plate Install) - Energy Take Classic (~2.9 lbs) mounted directly into gang box coverplates: I originally bought the cheap plastic "10 lbs" rated ones that are sold under multiple brand names and quickly realized I had bought junk. Concerns about overtightening the set screws and damaging the plastic are valid. Plus if a set screw slipped it would come apart and drop your speaker. I'm not mounting expensive speakers, but they REALLY did not make me comfortable and I abandoned that completely. This product, the VideoSecu mounts, are the real deal and the right way to do it at a still cheap cost. Firstly, these are made of metal, smaller and have a very robust design for capturing and biting the pivoting ball. As a professional mechanical engineer, I approve! No need to go for anything more expensive than these, in my opinion, and the relatively cheap price is worth the confidence they give you. I quickly shifted my plan to mount directly into the wall plates of my pre-wired gang boxes - best decision ever. I aligned the top hole of the mount w/ the top hole of the wall plate and then marked and drilled a hole in the plate where the bottom mount hole fell. Then I drilled another hole about 1/2" below that for the speaker wire to pass through. To assemble, I put in a #10 (overkill but I had it) machine bolt w/ lock-washer and nut through the bottom mount hole and the first hole I drilled. Then, just threaded the speaker wire through the lower hole I drilled and installed the whole plate assembly on the gang box using the #8 x 1.25" screws that were present. The top screw secures the top of the mount and wall plate at the same time. Extremely please with the install, didn't spend >$100 on "wall plate specific mounts", and didn't booger up my walls. Love it.

Feels like they're only rated for 10lbs because the included drywall anchors are junk. The mounts themselves feel extraordinarily solid. If you bolted this thing into a stud you could probably risk a lot more weight but i just want you to feel safe getting them if your speaker weighs 11lb these are probably MORE than sufficient and you don't need to feel like you're playing roulette. Get these theyre better than the photos make them look. Box made me think they sent the pair instead of five but there's 5 in there.. and a whole bunch of other goodies! Everything you need to get your speakers on the walls (or ceiling in my case). Except the drywall anchors. Use toggle bolts if you can't hit a stud.
