Two questions please: 1.Does the case auto sleep/wake when opened and closed? 2.Can the tablet be removed and replace easily?

1. It doesn't. 2. It can removed and reinstalled very easily. Worth the money. It is a good case.

Does the stand support the tablet OK in “viewing mode” - I’ve noticed some other makes collapse.

Yes, I have been using it as a 'stand' to use tablet as a TV no problem whatsoever.

Two questions please: 1.Does the case auto sleep/wake when opened and closed? 2.Can the tablet be removed and replace easily?

hi I think there’s a option on the tablet for the auto sleep/wake. I haven’t got that option on my tablet. 2nd answer, yes it can be removed and replaced easily. 😀
