It adjusts down low for sitting and up high for standing, even for me (with shoes on). It required no assembly whatsoever, it just stood up out of the box. It's light. The adjustable foot is great for my uneven old wood floor too. Review: Perfect stand. Sturdy, adjustable, solid construction - Perfect stand great price. All the complaints listed are addressed. I’m not at all handyman type, but was able to figure everything out. Firstly, the screws are bolted into the legs. Secondly, put the bars on properly aligning the holes in an offset position so that both large base bars and top short bars are flush on either side. See my posted picture with the screw holes circled for both support bars. Finally, the stand ‘rocking’ can easily be adjusted. One of the rubber caps has an increase in thickness, see my posted picture. Rotating this rubber cap will stabilize the stand. Absolutely BRILLIANT engineering in all aspects.
