## Description

Product Description desertcart Basics 16-Piece Cafe Stripe Kitchen Dinnerware Set, Plates, Bowls, Mugs, Service for 4, Black From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics

Review: Classic design, good price - Great set of dishes! Classic style, (I'm a retro guy, and wanted something simple but sturdy). The set gets the job done. The bowls are nice and deep, plates are perfect size, and mugs are big enough for a good cup of coffee. I've seen no defects and no issues with microwave use. If your looking for classic design at a good price, you found it!!
Review: Can't wait to use these dishes! - I had a set of blue stoneware dishes that were round, and very heavy duty, but I only had five since I bought them at a garage sale. I also had a partial set of green, square, japanese-style plates. After three years of use and wear, they were tired, and I was tired of not having a full set. I didn't have the money to purchase the Rachel-Ray sets that I loved, especially since I needed two sets (8 settings total). Then I stumbled along the desertcartBasics sets. Not only were there a variety of colors for me to choose from, but they were the right price! Two sets of these (8 place settings in total) is the same price as one of the Rachel Ray everyday set. I read the reviews and decided these were the right ones for my growing family. ...And I figured, "hey, if they don't work out, at least desertcart Prime returns are very simple." I will ***NOT*** be returning these dishes. I expected a thin version of dinnerware, but NO-- These are sturdy. The color representation from the online picture to the actual product is very accurate. The bowls, though smaller than the ones I had before, will be wonderful for controlling soup and cereal portions. I love the size of the salad plate. At just one average woman's hand width across, they just *feel right* in my palm. The mugs are a decent size. If you enjoy a hefty cup of coffee in the morning, these won't be for you. Odds are, though, you have a favorite mug anyway. For entertaining or the occasional tea/hot chocolate drinker, though, these are the perfect size. The handles are the kind that are easy to rest your thumb on top of, too, so that's another plus! This mama is so happy about her new dishes. I give these five stars because I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited to dirty them up with my food.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a deep salad bowl for this set??**
A: The bowls are deep - great for soup, salad or an ice cream sundae! I love the set!

**Q: Can the dishes be washed in the dishwasher? And also can they be put in a microwave**
A: Yes

**Q: Is this set unbreakable**
A: No, Amazon describes it as AB-grade porcelain; BPA-free; lightweight yet durable. Safe in your microwave, oven, and freezer as well as dishwasher-safe. I’ve owned two sets since holidays, haven’t had any issues and agree with description. If you want a heavy dish set, look at Stone ware. Adult unbreakable = patio or boat dish ware.

**Q: Is this set unbreable**
A: no it is not unbreakable, and it is more fragile than I thought but for the price it is a very good everyday set.
