It protects the phone very well. It’s also very lite in weight, But the disappointment is the main reason I bought the battery case…FOR THE BATTERY!! It doesn’t hold a charge long enough for anything! I just started using it right before my father died (2 wks ago). I had to go out of state to a funeral. I took the battery case with me thinkn it was gonna help me not have to worry about charging my phone on the road and anywhere else for that matter. Got on the road and I noticed my phone had dropped down to 37% battery left so I clicked the battery case button to charge my phone. It kept flashing and going off! It stayed on for a few seconds and went right back off. Never charged my phone. I had to use my charger cord in the vehicle to keep my phone charged the whole trip. I will never buy this product from this manufacturer again!! I tried different cords and chargers with the same result. This was a replacement for the same case which worked for a month and then wouldn’t charge past the first blue light. If I hook it to the battery charger, it's back up to 100% within a few minutes. It does add bulk, but that's expected.
