I was looking for a light-weight washcloth for my face, I found my perfect bath washcloth instead. I wanted something I could use for exfoliation and was thin enough to dry quickly. These are not the thin cloths that I wanted for my face, but they are absolutely perfect for bathing. They are fairly heavy but not so thick you can not get a good hold or maneuver it easily. They have little nubs which give them a perfect gentle scrubbing. Not at all scratchy or irritating. They make me feel wonderfully clean. I believe they could last for years. The reason they are not five stars is because the hems were badly sewn in a lot of places. The machine was either malfunctioning or the sewer was perhaps not experienced enough. I can resew them if they start to fall apart. Not everyone can. If they last decently I will buy again because otherwise the quality is fantastic. They dry quickly enough for a washcloth just not for something I use twice a day.
