The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that it is very difficult to tell which size tips are for which types of shoes. It would be helpful if the site showed sample shoe heels (not just measurements), I even measured mine and still got them too big. There wasn't a return/exchange option in the box, so I am going to purchase the smaller sizes. FYI to all those that wear pumps... Normal size tips are going to be in the 8-10 range, NOT the 11-13. I am super excited to get my new smaller ones though, the quality seems very good and they are easy to put on after removing the old ones. I will be interested to see the length of time these last versus when I take them to a shoe repair place. Helped me save a lot of money than if I had gone to the cobbler to get it done.Anyone complaining about the dowel size clearly did not do their research before purchasing. This is not the seller's fault. Make sure you remove your old pair's heel first and measure it to know what size you need. I ordered this brand as I knew I would need 2.9mm. By the way, the seller clearly states on this page that their product 2.9mm, so again, people seem to not be reading properly before ordering.That said, I am taking off one star as I wish we could order just one pair of heel tips as required. Also wish they had other sizes like 9x10 and other dowel sizes, which would be useful for some of my shoes. This is my request to the seller. NOWHERE is the pin thickness given. And guess what... the pins are too thick to use on my shoes, three different pairs.I cannot completely fault the supplier here, as you would think that shoes would all use the same diameter hole for the pins on the heels.. but nope.
