Milwaukee 48-11-1850 M18 Redlithium 5.0Ah Bat Pack

This battery arrived in original Milwaukee packaging and it was delivered FAST! It took some effort to cut through the stiff plastic packaging but once I got the battery loose it was obviously genuine. When I placed it in the charger it showed one red bar and I got the flashing red & green lights some people complained about saying the battery was defective but I held the charger and pushed the battery into the charger and it "snapped" into position and charged fully in less than an hour and this is a 5.0 Ah battery. Very impressive. The charger I have and used is Model 48-59-1812. I believe the fact that the battery was new caused it to take a bit more effort to fully seat it in the charger, at least the first time. I am very happy with the seller and the battery.

Saw this battery on Home Depot's web site for $169, so I was skeptical that this was a genuine Milwaukee battery for $65, but I bought it thinking that if it didn't come in the original Milwaukee packaging I would return it. But to my suprise it did come still sealed in the OEM packaging (took pic after opening), also charged up in a short time and it works great, so I save myself over 100 dollars on this item, highly recommend that you save money too!

Good product

I do a lot of DIY projects and some paid carpentry jobs. I'm a diehard Milwaukee tools guy, however, I've been using a lineup of mostly M18 1.5ah batteries in everything. The 1.5's work great for drills and jig saws, but on my circular saw or sawzall I was getting 2 or 3 eight foot cuts out of them and the battery indicator would automatically drop to 3 bars after 5 minutes of work. Frustrating to say the least. I decided to finally pull the trigger on a 5.0 because, although I am naturally very hesitant of reviews, I'd heard so much praise from fellow Milwaukee guys that I figured I should pull the trigger and see for myself. Well, let me tell you, the reviews are correct. These 5.0 batteries are simply incredible. For example, I just built a kitchen island and spent the entire day cutting. Whereas I used to have to always have one battery on the charger and constantly changing them with the 1.5's... when I was finished the 5.0 still had 3 out of the 4 indicators on and was slicing through 2x4s like they were made out of butter. The battery itself is listed as being rated for 1,800 full charges. That's more than any other battery I've ever found (or any cell phone.) Lastly, at the time of purchase I got these for $60 cheaper on Amazon than they were listed at HD. I've had two of these now for over a year and there is absolutely no discernible difference in power after using and charging them multiple times each week. Another thing I noticed is the massive increase in power with the 5 amps. The saw sounds completely different and cuts smoother. My Milwaukee blower I have feels like I went from blowing leaves with a straw to now whereas I fear the sticks I'm flinging through the air might damage my fence. Im not here to try to be a salesman, just trying to help out any of you others out there who run into constant power issues like I always have, or are just looking for a little less headache. The 5.0 was and is, literally, a game changer for me on a daily basis. I got the battery and it came with no power obviously, and when I plug it in my charger flashes red and green, meaning the battery is no good, is there a way to resolve this problem need a working battery for my screw gun
