The MiniVault compact gun safe by GunVault provides users the ability to access a handgun 20% faster than its predecessor. Upon entry of the correct code, the safe door simultaneously opens while the foam-padded auto slide-out drawer delivers unobstructed access to a handgun. Aiding in low-light conditions, a red LED illuminates the interior of the GV1050-19 for added confidence when you need it most. The MiniVault features the industry-leading illuminated No-Eyes digital keypad for fast access, even in the dark. Security features include heavy gauge steel construction, tamper proof concealed hinge and manual backup key with dimpled design for enhanced tamper resistance which offers superior protection for your handgun and valuables. The MiniVault safe also features a silent access mode, which allows the user to mute audio notification for discreet access.This is a California DOJ approved firearm safety device that meets the requirements of Penal Code section 23655 and the regulations issued thereunder.

Review: A tank of a safe - This safe is really nice. It is quite large, but it appears to be super durable. The finger buttons are nicely lit and easy to access in the dark. The gun storage is adequate for a full size pistol and a magazine. My only gripe is that it opens extremely violently. It is very loud. However I found that if I catch it with my hand as it opens it is less noisy. Still, I'd recommend this safe for someone looking for a on the top night stand pistol safe.

This safe is really nice. It is quite large, but it appears to be super durable. The finger buttons are nicely lit and easy to access in the dark. The gun storage is adequate for a full size pistol and a magazine. My only gripe is that it opens extremely violently. It is very loud.
