Seek Scientific’s Mixed Training Sutures Kit is the perfect educational tool to master suturing!This package contains 24 individually packaged non-absorbable training surgical sutures swaged/attached to eyeless atraumatic 3/8 circle reverse cutting needles. These sutures are 100% authentic. They were manufactured in the same facility as medical grade sutures and underwent the same process to make them sterile. You’ll be practicing with real sutures!Each thread length is 75 cm (~29.5 in). There are 4 thread types and they are composed of high quality monofilament or multifilament/braided organic or synthetic materials. They have high uniform tensile strength and consistent uniform diameter. Each thread types comes in 3 sizes (diameter).Thread Types and Colors:Monofilament:Nylon (Black)Polypropylene (Blue)Multifilament/Braided:Silk (Black)Polyester (Green)Thread Sizes (Diameter):4-0 (0.15 mm)3-0 (0.20 mm)2-0 (0.30 mm)Each thread is attached to a 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle. Product came just as described. Am learning to suture for just in case, as I like to spend as much time as possible out doors, and doing some small scale prep. The product is no different from regular medical grade sutures except their not sterile. Also like that there are two of each suture, as sometimes you don't get it right while practicing. I would buy these again.
