Bought September 12, installed and worked fine but on October 25th I started getting horizontal lines and then eventually the screen is scrambled. Screen is defective. Unable to return or contact seller. *** Screen seems low quality.Everything as described. My best advice to whoever reads this is to make sure you disconnect the battery cable and the cable next to it to make sure you do not short out your screen. This is the main reason why you will notice street lines across the screen or screen flickering after you install Screen.Don’t panic, just turn the phone off, unplug the battery cable and cable next to it and hold the power button for about 30 seconds to take out the remaining power within the motherboard. After that reconnect your screen cables and connect the battery cable last and you will be good to go. Also check to make sure your proximity sensor, Siri and dictation are working because I believe those three things will only work on a SE and not a 5S. Technically you should get a 5S screen for a 5S and a SE screen for a SE screen otherwise you will have issues on those three things. So test.I only gave it 4 stars because I wish the screen was brighter. It is not as bright as my original SE screen. Other than that nice packaging and screen is working good so far ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good stuff and great alternative for DIY types *by T***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2019* For $20 how can you go wrong? Install took about an hour. Lots of small screws and tedious work but replacement works as good as original. Color may be slightly less vivid but the touchscreen on mine actually works better than the original. Video link provided steps you through it. Take your time in a well lit, clean area and you won’t have a problem. Beats professional install for sure or a new phone (gulp).
