**Q: I ordered this and received the bottle, however the bottle does not say koh on it anywhere. it says potassium hydroxide cas 1310-58-3. is it koh?**
A: Potassium hydroxide (KOH), CAS 1310-58-3, is a colorless, odorless liquid widely used in both industrial and domestic uses. Also known as caustic potash, potassium hydroxide is a strong base as well as a precursor to numerous potassium compounds and liquid soaps.

**Q: What is the expiration date of this item?**
A: I’m sure they all vary, but I’ve ordered on 2 occasions and they were good for about 6 months.

**Q: how much solution is in the package?**
A: I believe there are 2 oz, plenty for many wet KOH preps in my gynecology office. It is an excellent product in a nice littl squeeze bottle.

**Q: why does it weight 2lbs if it's only 30mL?**
A: It actually doesn’t weigh that much. It barely weighs 1lb. I don’t  know why it says that!
