Skullcandy Navigator On-Ear Headphone with Mic3, White

These headphones are a turning point for Skullcandy, taking them from crappy overbuilt plastic headphones to respectable cans. Not only is the style much more "current", the sound that these headphones kicks out is phenomenal for a "lifestyle" item. Obviously, if you go with more expensive items you can get slightly better sound, and there might even be a few under 100$ that can outperform these sonically, but we all know that one of the reasons you're looking at this product page is because these headphones look really cool. Well, they are! They're incredibly comfortable, block out a good deal of outside noise, and crank out music with excellent clarity across all standard frequencies. The bass is present and powerful, but not muddy or amplified like on Beats headphones. The highs are crystal clear and the mids sit on a nice warm level where they're neither too intrusive nor too lacking or "hollow" sounding. Really, I can't stress how impressive these headphones are. I can hear things I could never hear before even with expensive PC speakers. These are not, however, headphones for audiophiles.These are layman's headphones. They crank out a very respectable and clear sound that to anyone who can't tell the difference would sound impeccable. They look really, really cool, they bend to fit your head, and they're partially a fashion accessory and partially an expensive pair of cans. Don't go expecting to hear "the air between the strings" as some people say, but do expect to discover new things about your music if you're upgrading from a 20$ pair of sonys or apple earbuds. Also, after having listened extensively to music on both Beats and Aviators / Navigators, Skullcandy is the winner and there is absolutely no contest. They have created earphones that are actually respectable sonically, don't completely mess up your music for more bass, and aren't made of cheap and easily breakable plastic.

Love them. Exceedingly comfortable and have a more mature, elegant styling. Classy looking pair of 'phones that performs quite well. The earcups isolate well and I don't notice overheating on the ears as much as I do on some other designs. Smooth sound with very good lower frequency reproduction that doesn't get muddy at higher levels. Not as immediate or detailed as some, but the sound mirrors the aesthetics - smooth and integrated. Detachable cord with an ios three button mic. Comes with a carrying bag and they fold up easily. Size adjustment works and holds, but may not be the best for larger heads. Overall build quality and materials used is excellent for it's price range. Some of the most comfortable 'phones I've ever used and they have a sophisticated sound quality to go along with top notch aesthetics.

First off i would like to say im a bit of a headphones freak. I have tried and owned a wide range of them. Now i am going to compare these to the Skullcandy Aviators since they are in fact siblings.Lets start with sound. The Aviators are some of the very best headphones i have ever heard. Good crisp highs no distortion anywhere and very nice clean bass. These navigators have the same specs as far as internals go. The difference is these are much smaller than their sisters. Giving them a very different sound experience. Highs are still good and crisp no distortion to be found here. Bass is still nice and clean, about the same as their sister Aviators except with these u get a nice rumble. You can feel them vibrate on yours ears giving a feeling of much more bass. I stress that even though it feels like more it really isn't. Lets move to comfort. The aviators fit nice over the ear, plus the memory foam pads are like wearing heaven. Only problem is like most over hear headphone your ears may get hot not always though. Sometimes you may forget you are wearing them. Very comfortable in general. This is where the Navigators fall short for me. They are on ear headphones and have the same foam in the pads. When putting them on at first they are super comfortable. Being smaller in general though they are really tight on my ears and over long periods they tend to smash my ears into my glasses. Gets uncomfortable. If you don't wear glasses this may not be an issue. Havent had them long so maybe they will loosen over time. Either way Aviators/ Navigators you can't really go wrong. If you are looking into Beats look again. These both sound just as good( a little less bass maybe but much more balanced and crisp sound) and come for half the steep price tag than Beats. Last but not least style. Think the speak for themselves in this department.

In store these we 100 bucks, so getting 20 off was awesome for me. First off, these headphones are just beautiful. Incredibly comfortable, really good at noise cancelation, and awesome sound quality. I also bought a pair of sony on ear headphones and they don't even come close to how good these headphones are. I would listen to them for maybe 20 minutes and get sore ears, with these there is no problem at all, they are super comfortable. Another thing, a lot of times skull candy gets a bad reputation because of ink'd headphones, but the thing about skullcandy is that all of their products below 20 dollars are absoloutely terrible. I got a pair pf ink'd that broke in a week. but once you get into the 30 dollar range and up, everything is fantastic, especially the Supreme Sound series, whice these are a part of. Paying the extra amount is worth it!

These head phones had everything I wanted except for blutooth connectivity (which was something I couldn't afford for the quality in sound I was looking for). More Importantly I was concerned with over the ear/full cup head phones due to my piercings and have had soreness in the past from cups pressing on them which gets old quickly with most other headphones. These Navigators are plush on the cushions and the only complaint I have is they tend to squeeze a bit on the protruding bits of cartilage in my ear, but its not too bad. Overall the build quality is decent and they get quite a few compliments because people think they are more expensive then they really are. I am not an audiophile, but the sound quality is pretty good aside from a little warm sounding. It picks up highs and lows well, but the mids are just so so. They aren't noise canceling, but its hard to hear anything when they are covering your ears. NEW 1/30/14 UPDATE Well been here before with Skullcandy's products and I honestly don't know why I am surprised at this point. A few weeks ago the cable started to short out whenever I moved and a few days ago I lost all sound in the right speaker. This has happened to nearly every single one of my previous headphones from Skullcandy. This is my last pair I will ever buy from them. I have wasted enough money on these cheap and flimsy head phones. I am not even going to bother with the warranty because I will just get the same defective product again. Look for a better manufacturer of head phones. Never settle for these pitiful pieces of lousy sound engineering.

first of all I am big headphone guy. I was sadly disappointed with these phones. do they look cool? yes. are they comfortable? yes. do they sound good? NO! I expected much better sound, and I will tell you why. I own the skullcandy s6avfm-156, and can honestly say THOSE are the best portables I have ever owned. these resemble the other ones mentioned, so I thought great! a smaller version of the ones I LOVE. these are on ear, which I thought would be great for the summer. the ones I LOVE are around ear which can cause you to sweat. the ones I LOVE cost considerably more but are WELL WORTH IT. if you have the money to spend on the better ones, I would highly recommend getting them. you cant go wrong with them. just one mans opinion.

I am going to go over aspects that I find the most important in a set of cans in no particular order. 1. Comfort - The Navigators are light and the memory foam makes them comfortable for extended periods of listening. They were fine even while wearing glasses. The only issue that I experienced was that they are not to be worn while doing excercise. They can get hot and the sweat can make it very "squishy"...ew. 2. Build - Although they make look a bit flimsy, mainly the metal adjustable sliders, these headsets are pretty sturdy. I would not put them to the "bend" test but it's been a couple of months and they still feel pretty strong. I like the detachable cord and it is made of good quality, non-tangle rubber. My only gripe is the glossy finish of the cups. I've been extremely careful because they seem very prone to scratching. 3. Style - This is one of the best things these set has going for it. I really love the look (black) and get many compliments. They do not look overbearing or cluncky. Actually, I might even say these are very elegant. Again, the challenge is the cups, as they get smudged with finger prints and attract dust rather easily. 4. Sound - Being the little brother of the SkullCandy Aviators (see my review), I expected the same, or at least similar sound quality. Unfortunately, I have found these headphones have gone in a completely different direction. The Navigators over-emphasize the bass. The highs get a bit lost and the mids sound a bit muddy in low quality sound files (mp3's). Definetely not recommended for high-fidelity, acoustic listening (live music, jazz, etc.). On the plus side, these sets sport excellent passive sound cancellation and minimal leakeage. In conclusion, I really want to like the Navigators but fell short of my recommendation. The price is ok, but there are several choices out there that provide better sound (albeit not as cool) for the same price range. Hope this helps.

These are great headphones for the money. I picked them up on Amazon for $45. They are very stylish and are my phones of choice for working out at the gym. The on ear style does a descent job of blocking outside noise. The sound is not quite as good as my Bose OE2i, but I paid $100 for the Bose, and the Navigators actually fit and look a little bit better. These headphones, to me, sound a little bass heavy, but I adjust the EQ on my ipod to "treble boost", and I'm very pleased with the sound. I also, have the Skullcandy Aviators, which are my favorite for road and plane trips because they are more comfortable. However, if I could only choose again to buy one of the three headphones that I've mentioned, I would pick these because of the value and versatility.

Pros: The headphones look stylish and comes with mic. Very good noise cancelling Cons: Don't expect great bass for this price. It had some compatibility issue with old model phones but works fine with computer\tablets.

Casque parfait pour une écoute nomade de tous style de musique On peut trouver un peu trop de grave au début mais avec quelques heures d'écoute le casque devient trèèèès agréable :) Une petite carte son USB en entrée et c'st parfait (son à la moitié (faible impédance ) nickel) Casque solide et pliable Je recommande (la couleur rose plait également beaucoup à sa propriétaire :D )

Los pillé a 10€, cosa que me sorprendió porque la calidad de Skullcandy siempre es increíble. Aíslan del sonido exterior que da gusto. Nada que envidiar a auriculares tipo Beats. Una compra espectacular
