Okay, so I reworked the edge (I always rework factory edges) and attempt to hack various small trees and vines growing on my property in east Texas without great luck. If you are rolling your eyes and nodding you get it. Anyway, it's one of many choppers that I have used on my chunk of land and it could be better. If you're a collector and just need a decent machete in your collection it's great. If you're hacking rubbery green, growing, and thorny vine that is trying to take over your yard a foot at a time, get something with a thicker spine and deeper/heavier blade; various Kukris and Parangs (Condor makes great Parangs) are far more effective.
