Will this work with an angled ceiling?

It would depend on the depth of the angle. If it was shallow, I think that this would work. If it is a steeper angle I don't think it would work. The top mount is not angle adjustable although somewhat flexible.

Can you get a replacement extension pole for this caddy? I’ve lost mine in a move

Contact OXO directly at 1 (800) 545-4411 they told me that replacement parts would be available soon when I spoke with them three months ago.

Will this hold jumbo size shampoo bottles sturdily?

Yes, no problem. I currently have two jumbo bottles on the same shelf.

The only way to extend the caddy beyond 7 feet was to pull it with enough momentum. Is this by design or did I receive a defect?

You have to pull it to extend the length. There is a locking mechanism built in to prevent it collapse. Very nice product.
