I bought the non-shredded variety first time around, and found them too thick and unforgiving, so, went with the shredded foam ones this time and they are PERFECT for me, a really nice amount of plush give while maintaining coolness and support. So I have a pair of each type (for a King Size bed), and I still get use from the non-shredded ones as 'body pillows, lol, they are fine for that. Everyone has different preferences, though, and I know some who have both and prefer the firmer nonshredded ones. Not me. On sale, these were a particularly good value. Note, I was careful to get the ones with zippers that allow adjustment, but did not need to adjust them. Also, as others note, the way they are packed/shipped you will need to toss them in a dryer IAW the instructions. I found that the slight 'factory fresh' odor was less with these than with the nonshredded and went away even quicker. Even new, that was not a bother to me, but I am a guy, and we can be nose-blind, lol.

I Love Love this pillow so far. I've only used it the past 4 nights so far, but, I Love it. Last week, I was having an extremely difficult time in bed. I would wake up in agonizing pain. I would wake up in the morning, about 3 hours before I had to get up, my lower body, from my hips down to my feet were often numb and the other days they weren't numb, they were in extreme pain as was my lower back. I usually sleep on my back or left side but, last week, I couldn't get comfortable in any position. I thought it was soley the mattresses fault even though the mattress was only a few years old. I was initially looking into memory foam mattress pillow tops as I thought that's what I needed. I decided to first look into a memory foam pillow to see if that made any difference. Since this pillow had so many good reviews I decided to try it. When it arrived, it was actually rolled up. I unrolled it and placed it on my bed. It was Completely Flat. I had never had one of these types of pillows before so, I was feeling dissapointed initially. I didn't realize that these pillows fluff up by themselves after a couple of hours but, that night, after I came back home, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this pillow fluffed itself up. I was excited to say the least. When I initially laid my head down on the pillow, i was surprised. It was firm, yet soft and very comfortable. That first night, I actually had a very good night's sleep and slept for about 7 hours (which is very good for me) and when I woke up that morning, I wasn't in any pain. I was very happy. And the last few nights sleeping on it, I also woke up in no pain. I don't know what it is. I cannot fully say that this pillow took all the pain away, but, that's the only explanation that I can see right now. Either way, I really like it. It's a bit pricey for me, but, honestly, it's worth every penny.

this is a bad review... the pillow was not what i expected but it is as it is in the photos. i just somehow thought this pillow had a zippered edge so the outer case could come off for cleaning. also i wanted to change the designed use of the pillow. you see i'm used to squashed out semi-cheap pillows that you end up folding. i fold the edge usually and have a "hard edge" and a softer middle. i wanted to get this one and add a cut 'pool noodle' to the (17") edges so it would be more like what i'm used to. but since there's no zipper... i can't do that the way i thought i would be doing it. heh, first world problems i guess. ok, even without the zipper part this is still a really nice pillow. not as heavy as i though it was going to be but still seems to be just the right firmness. there is a very slight smell right out of the package but you really have to be trying to sniff it to detect that. i'm not a serial pillow sniffer so it doesn't bother me at all. and it's going to be a few hours till my first sleep on it so that should be plenty of time for the factory smell to go away. if you're a pillow sniffer just give it a quick mist of your favorite cologne...some "joop" maybe, they sell it here on amazon. in the instructional video (lol) they say to fluff the pillow as it's expanding i say don't do that. all the stuffing is very even from being squished and rolled. as it expands it'll be nice and even for your first use. pros: very nice feel to the case perfect firmness not stiff like some new pillows cons: no zipper edge (yes i'm still harping on that) has an irritating tag on one side (nitpicking) i only bought one should have got two of them :( instructional video LOL

At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I swear this pillow has changed my sleep for the better. I kept all the stuffing in it. When I opened it, I put it in the dryer on low for about 30 minutes. The first night it was super fluffy and I kind of didn’t like how, as my head sank in, the sides of the pillow were rising up, covering my face a bit. I was worried but by the second night the extreme over fluffiness had settled and it didn’t rise up in front of my face again after that. My pillow did NOT smell or have odor like people are complaining of. And I have the world’s best sense of smell (a little hyperbolic again, I know, but really, my sense of smell is noteworthy). This pillow is amazing for true side sleepers because it gives me PERFECT neck support, and molds around my shoulder that I’m lying on. I was previously having neck pain with my old pillows for a while, but these past few nights with this new pillow, I haven’t had any pain at all. I think the price I paid for the king size was WELL worth the money. I highly recommend this pillow for side sleepers for sure!

This pillow is nice and thick and supports my neck and head well when I lay on my side. I'm very happy with how easy it was to get adjusted, and it did smell a little bit the first day, but not anymore.

UPDATE: the company provided a replacement and the coroner service was great. I increased my review from 2 to 3 and will come back to update after using the new one for 3 months Original review: I had purchased this pillow a few years ago and had a great experience with it. The pillow came packed with extra cushion to be added if needed and it lasted for now than a year. However this last time (Jan/2026), it wasn’t the case. The pillow didn’t come with extra cushion to be added, which it’s ok, because the amount that comes inside should be enough anyway. However, after only 3 months the memory foam lost its elasticity and ability to return to its fluffiness state. In other words… the pillow flattened. I gave this pillow to my spouse who prefers a flat and very small pillow. It was disputing to see a product I really enjoyed reducing its quality.

I bought this 3 1/2 years ago and it is holding up well. After a couple year’s use, the filling was getting too firm, so after removing the outer cover, I washed the whole pillow in cold water with 3 rinses (no fabric softener). Tumbling on low in the dryer fluffed it up, but it seemed that the fabric of the cover wasn’t allowing moisture to escape. I finally unzipped the cover, stuck a hanger in to prop it open, and blew a fan inside for a couple days. That worked, and the hassle was worth it, as the pillow was much softer.

Update after 3 mos use: (rating dropped to 1 star) Okay, I admit. I really tried hard to want to love these pillows. The smell just never really went away--it doesn't matter how much you air them out. Also, you need to fluff these pillows every night or they harden (all the foam forms to into a hard lump) and it gets very stiff, heavy, and uncomfortable. This pillow is very heavy so when you fluff it, it's not very easy to do. You're literally grabbing and pinching, separating all the foam parts that have meshed together. Lastly, my neck and shoulders started getting stiff and painful. Every morning I woke up, I felt like like all my neck and should muscles had tensed overnight. The pain was starting to get worse so I got rid of the pillow and after going back to my normal pillows, I'm having a good night's rest again and waking up feeling pain free. I like firm pillows but these were hard after a while of sleeping on them and was not as comfortable as I thought they would be. If it hadn't been over 30 days since I bought these pillows, I would send them back for a full refund! Makes for an ideal gift if you can't figure out what to buy someone because everyone needs a comfortable pillow! This pillow arrives tightly rolled up and wrapped up in saran wrap material. Takes a few minutes to "inflate" and then you can fluff it up. Be warned, the pillows have a strong chemical smell from the foam. I strongly suggest airing the pillows out for at least a night before using, especially if you are sensitive to smells. You can also throw it in the dryer on the 'air dry' cycle. I am a side sleeper and like firm(er) pillows. Don't get me wrong, I also like soft pillows since no one wants to sleep on a rock hard, stiff pillow. This pillow provides me with the perfect support so I don't feel like I'm suffocating while sleeping. The pillow does not go flat while sleeping. With the bamboo cover, I still use a cotton pillow-case. I have no issues with sweating so the breathability of the pillow doesn't bother me but it's a nice added feature. If you prefer thin, flat pillows, then this pillow is not for you. I wake up with no shoulder or neck pain and am enjoying my new pillow. The only thing I did not enjoy (aside from the initial fresh out of the wrapper smell) was the price fluctuation. I initially paid $10 more for my first purchase.

Not the magic sleep it was hyped up as. I found it lumpy and uncomfortable. Removing stuffing means the remaining is loose in the case making it even lumpier instead of just thinner.

I was hesitant to buy this pillow because of the price but decided It was worth the risk if it actually helped my with my neck pain...and it’s been AMAZING!! I have several herniated discs in my neck and I’d practically given up on ever waking up pain free or having a migraine free day..after reducing the foam content this pillow has been unbelievable. I still get some pain if I’m lying on my back but when side sleeping it’s all good! I am so thankful for this pillow. It has literally changed my quality of life. Worth every penny.

Wouldn’t be a good pillow if it cost $50 bucks, much less $200.

Amazing pillow! Super comfortable! Exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend to those seeking a good sleep.

It is hard to get a comfortable shape and the pillow is too hard for my taste.
