This thing kicks the Maxius's a$$, and at half the price.It's easy to clean, lightweight, heats okay (but its not the fastest at heating up), PINK (which I love), and gets my thick hair straight much quicker than a regular flat iron.Note: you must detangle or do a blow-out on your hair before using any iron that has combs attached.. To make matters worse, now it won't even turn on. That's right - it no longer works! I gave it to my sister who has thinner hair. My sister stated when she arrived home she was so excited to use it - that as soon as she arrived home she turned it on - only to be disappointed when the power light went on but it failed to heat up. Now I know my daughter and I have thick hair but it's not so thick that after two attempted uses, that it would have broken it! Long story short, if it wasn't the uselessness of the product - it's the ineffectiveness of the product to even work - that I would advise against purchasing the product. I don't know about the 5 star reviews. Anyone that would rate it more than two stars, received a product MUCH better than what I received. It would only be worth two stars if it were functional.
