I understand that I was gambling and wasn't guaranteed anything. First off, I paid $44.23 for this. In terms of the sheer volume of cards I got (180), I would agree that I got my money's worth for roughly $0.25 per card. That being said, there wasn't anything that I got that blew me away so I was left a bit disappointed. If I could go back in time and prevent myself from purchasing this, I would. While I got a few good cards, I wouldn't use most of them or display them in my binder. The ones I would use could've been bought separately for a few dollars. The only thing of note that I got was a single Forbidden Lance. This is the last time I will ever buy booster packs.FAQQ: How many cards are in this pack?A: 36 packs x 5 cards each = 180. Personally, I got 97 effect monsters, 5 normal monsters, 40 trap cards, and 38 spell cards.Q: What are my chances of getting a god card?A: These booster packs are a part of a 215 unique card set. You get 180 cards (not necessarily all unique) with this package. The chance of getting 3 unique god cards (or even 1) is pretty low if you consider that each booster will have 3 commons and you are depending on the rest of the 2 to be a god card(s).Q: Should I get this set or buy the God cards separately?A: Depends on you. This is a gamble so you need to understand what you're getting into. Personally, I don't want to pay $50+ for 3 pieces of cardboard. At least with this pack, you get other good cards and few duplicates. If the ONLY thing you want are the god cards, you are looking at the wrong product because while you might get them, you'll be paying far more than buying them separately.PROS:+ Excellent value in terms of card volume: I paid $44.23 to get 180 cards. That's roughly $0.25 per card which is good when you consider each pack comes with a mosaic rare and a rare.+ Packaging was very nice, both in shipment and the product. Nothing felt cheap.CONS:- I wish the god card rate (and the rates of other sought after cards) was a little higher just so customers could feel more satisfied. Or, they could've guaranteed one random god card if you buy this box set and upped the price a little, but that'd probably diminish their value. But who cares? It's a children's card game. I know that you can buy them separately, but I don't want to pay $50+ for 3 pieces of cardboard which is why I took the gamble because I thought I might pull at least 1.- Quite a few duplicates. I counted 36 instances of getting 2-3 of the same cards. I guess I was just unlucky, but my review is based on what I got.CONCLUSION: I've learned my lesson. There are around 72 cards that can be Black Rare or Mosaic Rare. But the problem is that the Gods are only Mosaic Rare cards. So out of the 36 packs I pulled one God, Slifer. So I made the money back on this purchase from Slifer. Here is one problem about this set. It comes with tuners and cards great for Exceed summoning, but there are no XYZ or Synchro cards in this entire set. If you want the God cards that bad just buy all three and not spend tons of money on cards that you may already have. But if you wanna have fun with some friends and duel your heart out with cards buy this box. It's a whole box of the brand new Battle Pack. There are 5 cards per pack, 36 packs per box, 215 cards in all, and a guaranteed glossy black letter rare as well as a Mosaic Rare in each pack. Any card in the set may be Mosaic Rare, and the legendary God Cards will always be of said rarity. Keep in mind that the Gods in this set are 100% TCG legal effect monsters with their original artwork, not the SJ versions. I opened Slifer in my box, as well as several other useful cards. This set is more or less designed to bring raw power and unhindered strength back into the game. Many monsters in this set are high level, and cards like Star Blast are included to make them instantly playable. Opening this was a lot of fun, and you are more likely than not to get a God out of this box.
