Cleaning is easy and I keep the OEM filter to use while this filter is drying. Review: I like dryflow filters over oiled any day of the week - Gotta love the desertcart asked question.... "Easy install?" In this case yes, but I have had other cars that the design of the stock airbox is insane to get the filter out. Fortunately Toyota made this one easy! I am a fan of dryflow filters. I have used both AEM and AFe of which I have between these two manufacturers in three cars. Keeps everything clean and are cleanable. I have one that has been in my car for 6+ years and is still in good order. I have used others that are oiled and seen people use foam filters. They both have their issues. Either the oil gets into the intake tract and air mass sensor if equipped....never a good mix. The foam seem to get dirty fast and deteoriate fairly quickly. The issue there is the bits and then dirt find their way where they shouldn't. Am I expecting gains in power or gas mileage...no I am not.
