Three Slot Pancake Holster (Black)

So, I recently purchased a Sig P320 Compact/Carry model chambered in 9mm. I own Gould and Goodrich holsters for several of my other firearms and I really like the quality, especially for the price. So, I did a search on Amazon to see if there were any G&G holsters that would fit the P320. I found this particular holster (SKU B803-250) here on Amazon for the Sig P250 Compact. For those of you that do not know, the P320 is basically the striker fired version of the P250. There are some other minor differences, but the modular frames and the overall slide footprint are identical. Most of the chatter online indicated that P250 holsters would accommodate the P320. There was one little thing I had to take into consideration, though. There are two different frame versions of the P250. The first generation frames have a rounded bottom on the rail section. The second generation frames have a squared off rail. All of the P320 frames have the squared rail as well. So, I called up G&G customer service to see what they had to say. According to their fit chart, they said that the P320 would NOT fit in this particular holster because it was designed to accommodate the curved first generation rail. They also said that, at this time, they didn’t have any thumb break holsters for the P320. I was still curious, so I ordered the holster anyway. It arrived in good order and I gave it a try. And what do you know, it works just fine. In fact it is a perfect fit. I do not know if this holster was actually designed for the curved rail or not, but you cannot tell by looking at it. The thumb break closes nice and snug and the holster clears cleanly and smoothly on the draw. I am thoroughly satisfied with it.Also, as another point of interest, I got a hold of a P250 subcompact, railed frame that has the rounded trigger guard, unlike the squared trigger guard of the compact/carry and the full size frames. I can swap out the frames to give myself a shorter grip for a smaller profile if I so desire. Despite the rounded trigger guard, the smaller frame still fits just fine in this holster. That means that if you have the subcompact P250 or P320 in either the railed frame version or un-railed frame version, it will still fit in this holster quite nicely. This holster (SKU B803-250) will fit the gen 1 and 2 P250 Compact and Subcompacts in 9mm/.40S&W/.357Sig and the P320 Compact and Subcompacts in 9mm/.40S&W/.357Sig. I don’t know if the .45 ACP pistols will fit. Also, the full size frames will most likely not fit. This is an open bottom design, but the end of the holster tapers a bit past the end of the slide making it, in my mind, too narrow for the larger frame to extend through. Even if it does fit, the additional .8” of barrel would protrude from the bottom of the holster, exposing your muzzle and front sight.Anyway, you can’t go wrong with Gould and Goodrich products. They are high quality, made in the USA, and very affordable. I would highly recommend this product to a friend.

I'm a LEO, and my department issues us Glock 22s (.40 cal). I recently purchased a FNS-9 (FN Herstal 9mm) which I intend to carry on duty after I qualify with it. I attend as many training conferences as I can, but I do not go to training conferences in full uniform with vest and full duty belt. So, I purchased a leather holster (not this one) for my FN that I could wear on a regular belt with my slacks. I ordered it from The Holster Store and it is a beautiful holster. My Glock 22 also fits it well, it but the muzzle sticks out of the bottom slightly since the FN has a shorter barrel like the Glock 19. That holster is awfully wide so you need to wear it with 5.11 Tactical pants with wider spaced belt loops. It doesn't fit well with regular slacks or jeans.I decided to order a holster for the Glock since I will continue to carry it on occasion. I ordered the G&G holster because it has the 3 slots (high ride or forward cant) and it was $32 on Amazon. Unfortunately, I didn't read the description closely enough; it was a lefty holster. I sent it back and Amazon gladly refunded my money. The right hand version runs about $45.In the meantime, I found an online holster store (not Amazon) that sold leather Tagua holsters for $36, so I gave them a try. The holster was supposed to fit a Glock 17/22, and was supposed to be new and never worn before. It arrived with scuffs, nicks and scratches all over. Also, it had clearly been worn because the body side of the holster had the black scraped away in spots where the slide notches make contact with a person's body. That's not even the worst part, because the holster clearly wasn't made for a Glock 17/22 even though it was advertised for the 17 or 22. The muzzle stuck out of the bottom quite a bit, and the thumb break could not snap together because the snaps were about an inch apart with the Glock in the holster.I returned it for refund to that store and immediately came back to Amazon and ordered this G&G right hand holster for $45. It fits GREAT on my Glock as well as my FN (although there is a significant gap between the end of the muzzle and bottom of the holster, but that's okay since it doesn't show...I may order another G&G holster sized for the Glock 19 and use it for my FN!) The G&G holster is narrower than my FN's leather holster so it easily fits between the belt loops with normal jeans or slacks, and you have the option of wearing it with a forward cant or straight high-ride position. There is a gap between the top of the thumb break and the gun on my FN's holster, but the G&G thumb break strap is quite snug to the gun. And I can sit down without the G&G holster or the gun gouging my side!It came to me in brand new condition, and it is a beautiful holster. I strongly recommend this holster and would definitely buy another one.The moral to my long story is to read ads carefully and buy quality holsters from a trusted source like Amazon and a trusted company like Gould & Goodrich. You will be pleased you spent a few bucks more for the quality, fit and finish.UPDATE: I found one thing I don't like about the G&G holster. On the pants side of the holster where the leather covers up the trigger guard, it does not completely cover up the trigger and you can stick an finger in there and pull the trigger. The chances of that happening aren't great, but you have to consider the possibility if you get into a struggle with someone who's trying to take your weapon from you. If they reach at just the right angle, they may be able to cause a discharge that ends up in your lower extremity. Anyway, I wanted to be fair and report the bad with the good, so I'd downgrade it to a 4.5 rating instead of a 5. It is still a great holster.

Comfortable with proper retention

Gould and Goodrich has always been a fan favorite of mine. Their products are quality and well priced. This holster (Glock22) rides high and tucks in the full size Glock well. Excellent for concealment of the full size weapon. Put a little lube on the thumb release snap and work it so it snaps and unsnaps easily. Unsnapping is obviously the most important.Would highly recommend. After 30 years in Law enforcement I have used several of their products and give them high recommendations.

From 1989 when I graduated from the Police academy until retirement in 2016, this model holster from Gould & Goodrich, B803-G17, was issued by my department for off duty carry of our Glock 17. And when I retired, having had to return the holster along with all my other issued equipment, I was very happy to find this old familiar time tested piece of gear for sale for under a hundred dollars. I relied on it to carry and if need arose, to present my sidearm to meet a threat. Like the Glock 17 it was made for, it was a tool and foundation of my professional life and it fulfilled its purpose beautifully. Worn so much it was like a wedding ring or favorite watch. Drawn from and holstered thousands of times, at home, at work, at the range and on the streets of DC- it never failed me (I did turn in the original to property division about 2/3rds through my career as it had gotten a little slack and less stiff with age). Some things just work right from the get go. This is one of them.

Great quality, My Glock 17 fits nicely inside, thumb break is very secure and crisp. Very comfortable on my side.
