The old drive chain was stretched out and slipping, with obvious wear on some links. Shortening the original chain was not helping. Research of the mower's manufacturer information did not provide for ordering a replacement chain and gave no clear guidance on what to use to replace the original.Online videos and Amazon reviews solved this problem but I was still worried the reviews and videos may have been incorrect- I like to hear the truth from the manufacturer, not third parties. Everything I saw said to get a 410 motorized bicycle chain (not regular bike chain) and after reading more reviews of other venders that sometimes misrepresented their chains I worried *this* chain might not work or that the vendor would misrepresent it as a real 410 chain when it was really something else. But once it arrived it was exactly what was required, may actually be a slightly higher quality chain than the original.
