One end is a chisel and the other is pointed. It does weight quite a bit but is solid and sturdy. I intended to use it for one job and anticipated selling on, but found it so useful in lots of other jobs. It’s great at breaking sandstone while digging fence post holes, and loosening hard clay soil when landscaping.
