PERFECT For the Libre!
After using the Libre for a year, I was frustrated that even with SkinTak, My Libre would be barely hanging on with three days left. Then, I read an article from an Endocrinologist who HIGHLY recommended the SIMPATCH. So, I Ordered the SimPatch for Libre (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078H3CWZ9/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_M453BN6GKPDZ2ZDBC6AF) , which holds on to the thin adhesive edges around the Libre (you can read my review here (https://www.amazon.com/review/R2B0KWCNLZWPDL/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B078H3CWZ9). My issues were very similar to others, so I Thought I would give this one a try, as it fully covers the sensor with about another inch extending past it. THE GOOD: * It holds up. - I've used these with 2 sensors so far - the first sensor, I was swimming frequently, and the patch lasted about 7 days. This current sensor, I have only swam three times and it made it the full 14 days. * Easy to remove - The adhesive is strong, but not so strong it tears up your skin or you pull the Libre off with it. IMO, its a fine balance and they got it. If the adhesive was stronger, would it last 14 days with swimming? Sure. But I'm willing to bet it would be a much more uncomfortable process to remove. For me, I'm good if it lasts 7 days. THE BAD: * It is a flat circle. Looking at the images, I thought it would have an outdent for the sensor - this is not the case. So, you have to be a little more careful to try and center the patch and ensure it has a decent seal around the sensor, so water does not get in (even during a shower) and work away at the adhesive of the patch and the sensor. While not a perfect product, it does solve the problem I had, so I will continue to purchase these and would recommend.

CGM Patch You’ve been Looking For
These CGM cover patches are great! I use the Libre 2 CGM and I have not lost one CGM to showers, water sports or basic everyday activities since I started using these covers . They cover the monitor well, hold onto the skin (I do use a skin prep pad) and allow transmission of the CGM signal. They are more expensive than some of the other brands but it is worth it to have them protect my monitor. I’ll be buying this brand for my cover needs!!

They adhere well
I use a libre sensor and I am very active. I have tried several types of these patches. This one adheres nicely and stays attached for the 2 weeks unless I am very active outside in high temps. I do wish they were a little larger and sometimes they are difficult to get the backing off. They are the best of all the ones i have tried thus far

Good, Economical Patch. Does the Job
This patch does the job. They stick well and are water resistant and come off easily. Prior to using them, I had problems with sensors getting bumped and falling off or failing. Haven't had that problem since (except once when I bumped it really hard). So, very happy with them. After 7-10 days the edges start to curl up a bit. But I think that's the same with the other patches, since they all say they last 7-10 days. When they start to curl, I put a little Skin Tac under it to try and keep it down. If the curling gets too bad, then I just place another patch on top of the curled up area, and that takes care of it. So I plan on using 1-2 patches every 14 days. Since these are economically priced, I don't mind doing that. No other complaints about them. Just ordered my second set.

Pulled my sensor off during the night.
I tried this brand for my insulin pump pod and those work great. Strong adhesive for the 3 days for the pod. Thought they'd be good for the libre sensor button too since the adhesive seemed more solid. The first 2 times I used them for libre, they stayed on my arm for almost the full 2 weeks of the sensor life, The next one was ok for about 4 days and peeled up and it was tricky to pull it off the sensor without pulling the sensor off my arm.. you know this is being done with one hand right? I was hoping these patches would have the non-adhesive center so if you have to change the patch, it isn't fully glued to the sensor. This last time I used one, it started to peel up after 4-5 days, but it wasn't too bad yet. Last night the peeled part that wouldn't stick to my arm anymore, apparently was sticky enough to attach to my pajama sleeve and when I rolled over the entire patch and sensor pulled off my arm, stuck to the pj-sleeve. Simpatch, you need to make a version of these that has the adhesive free center, so if the patch peels off on it's own, or has to be changed early, it doesn't take the sensor off with it. stickiness to skin is a totally different animal than stickiness to the sensor, or fabric/clothing... skin sheds off, so it's easier for the patch to peel off the skin on it's own, but solid stuff like the sensor or one's sleeves.. or bedsheets, blankets... it sticks more firmly to these things. Having adhesive in the center of the patch is a rea problem. I understand that the adhesive on Simpatch is heat activated.. so if one sleeps on the side the sensor is on.. body heat between your arm and the bed, trapped will make any peeled edges of the patch stick firmly to any fabric it contacts... and make the bond on the sensor even stronger... which means... it will pop off when you roll over or touch your arm. If they make a version with fabric in the center that is non-adhesive over the button I'll consider buying them again.

I used this for my vacation. Perfect solution for swimming and warm weather situations while wearing the Dexcom 7.

for freestyle-2, this patch is the only one that holds well for the duration of 14 days. tried other brands, they all fall off or peel after 3-4 days.
