The fans are already connected to the front panel, so all you have to do is Daisy chain the fans to each other and plug the USB 3.0 cable to the motherboard **Q: Is the fan controller worth using instead of the mobo?** A: I use it. There are 3 speeds, when I am doing some heavy gaming, I set my fans to max, otherwise I leave them on the medium setting. **Q: No light like the P400S?** A: This version doesn't have the rgb but does have the fan controller. I'm so glad I went with the Phanteks case. I ordered the case without all the RGB fans because normally they suck and I wanted to buy my own fans anyway. This thing has great cable management, plenty of entry and exit points for cables. In general, this is probably the best sub $70 case you can get right now. Its airflow is great, the only downside to the case is the fact that a radiator cannot be top mounted.
