Review: A great value! - There's not necessarily any new information in this book that isn't on the internet, but having it all in one place and spelled out very easily is incredibly valuable. I followed that full 12-week program which resulted in some lost weight, increased strength, and more muscle tone! More importantly I feel like it helped me develop a habit of working out that I intend to continue. Pros: - All exercises are described fully. - If an exercise is unable to be performed, several alternatives are mentioned. - It touches on many different aspects of working out. Eating healthy, which supplements are worth it, stretching, etc. - Hard to beat that price. Cons: - Why aren't the page numbers for the exercise included in the workout plan? You literally have the page numbers in the index of the book, it wouldn't have been hard to add them to the workout plan. Instead I have to flip back and forth, or write in the page number myself. - Wish it would've expanded more on the nutrition side.

Kyle wrote such an informative book and I love how he started out with laying foundation for good nutrition before getting to the nitty gritty about exercise, form etc. If you are new to fitness and have an interest in bodybuilding this book is the perfect guide to help you build a solid foundation for your fitness journey.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Book!

I recently started programming my own training. Previously, I had worked with a trainer for 6 or 7 years, so I feel that I am familiar enough with weight training to consider myself beyond the beginner stage, but unfortunately lack the education to make programs based on experience alone. I bought this book for reference and to assist me in making my own programs. Overall, I feel the book is a great reference. It contains instructions on how to do a variety of exercises with proper form, different stretches, nutritional advice, and it has a 12-week beginner program in the back of the book to help get you started, which helps cut out the confusion on where to start in the gym. I think this book would be most useful to someone who is just starting on their training journey with the assistance of a trainer or a friend who has experience with weight training. I've found myself referencing this book when programming a new training schedule. I would like to see a sequel to this book geared for someone who is more intermediate. I've scoured the internet for books and articles to assist training (My most coveted reference books at the moment are Jim Wendler's 5/3/1, Periodization Training for Sports and Practical Programming for Strength Training. I also have subscribed to the author's email newsletters and reference breakingmuscle.com often), and while I've found some fantastic information from various sources, I feel they all lack the same thing: how to vary programming [on the three big lifts] to achieve higher strength goals. That being said, if you're interested in strength training and making it a long-term goal, this book is worth every penny.
