What other tool might work?** A: I doubt it, you need a saw of some sorts. Sawzaw would do it too. If you try and cut it with plyer like side cutters it would crush the area where the plastic corners go. Probably not a fun thing to pull out and straighten. local hardware store sells hacksaws cheap. I will say about this product though,, the cheap plastic spline roller will only last for this frame and be worthless afterwards. I did have my nice metal one in my tool box but wanted to see if the one given would hold up. I had my doubts but it lasted through my 24" x 18" screen I made. **Q: Any other color?** A: I've only seen white **Q: Do these come in bigger sizes (roughly 34" W x 57" tall) & parts to keep screen locked/secured in window so it doesn't fall in/out?** A: Please review PL 7814 60" x 60" x 5/16". **Q: Do you measure the old screen or wlndo** A: Either. It took about 30 minutes and it was done and looks great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ FAIR WARNING! *by C***N on March 24, 2024* This screen frame not only works amazingly but is built very sturdily, I'll update this post if I find out otherwise, but I wanted to give a fair warning, while this product is neither advertised nor states that it includes lift tabs, and tension springs, it is also not very well built for them. I built this imitating my last window screen and I noticed the lift tabs and tension springs weren't included which was fine since I had the ones from the last screen, but upon trying to install them I noticed the tension springs in particular did not fit with the corner connectors and I had to carve a bit of them out to get it to fit, though I must say in the end they did work through and they were put up very well.
