Bed Bug Interceptors – 4 Pack | Bed Bug Blocker (Pro) Interceptor Traps (White) | Insect Trap, Monitor, and Detector for Bed Legs

Got these after getting bedbug bites on vacation to make sure our mitigation efforts worked and we didn’t bring the bedbugs home with us. Fortunately, we haven’t seen any bedbugs in the interceptors (knock on wood!) but it was able to capture what looks to be a cockroach. I was skeptical about how well it would work but it actually was able to keep it in the middle area just running in circles unable to escape. So it works very well!

Do not have bedbugs anymore but felt these where a good idea to monitor for them.

We picked up bed bugs while traveling. They usually cling to luggage, and when you bring them home, they travel from luggage onto your bed and drink your delicious blood as you sleep! Bed bugs must be the inspiration for the Dracula story, but they are much less sexy and extremely irritating! It is very expensive and not always successful to call an exterminator for your bed bugs. We did a lot of research before we used this eradication method, and—saints be praised!—it was successful! We were bed bug free about 2.5 weeks after initial symptoms. Does that seem like a long time? Well, that ain't nothin' in the world of bed bug eradication! Some people pay $$$ over and over to get rid of these pests! Here was our strategy: 1) We washed everything from our suitcases and all bedding in warm water and dried them in the sun on the close line until they were extra-crispy! 2) We ran a steamer—one of those plastic portable irons—slowly over every surface of the mattress and box spring, repeating the treatment on the seams and piping, where bedbugs congregate. Also on the toe molding around the room (also a favorite convention site for bed bugs), and also made space between the toe molding and furniture, luggage, or anything else that could transport the little suckers. 3) We isolated the bed from the walls and the floor using the Bed Bug Interceptors, the subject of this product review. Bedbugs cannot leap or fly: they can only crawl, and they cannot crawl up the legs of your bed when the Bedbug Interceptor is in their way! We threw a little baby powder in the canals of the Bedbug Interceptors to make their journey slipperier, thus even harder for the bugs to make it to the bed legs! We highly recommend the Bedbug Interceptors as part of a complete bedbug eradication plan! Safe for humans, environmentally friendly, no more trouble than more toxic solutions, cost-effective, and no animals were harmed—except bedbugs!!

I put these under my bed legs. The only time I would know if these actually work is if there are still bugs in my house that get trapped, but until then (hopefully no more bugs!) I have greater peace of mind when going sleep.

I don't know yet. I cannot position it correctly because I can't lift my bed into the product. It's too heavy for me alone.

If you've ever encountered bed bugs you'll be as paranoid as I am. The traps are a preventive measure to prevent the devils from getting to me in the night. So, far every time I've checked the traps there have been no bugs in them. The reason I believe there are no bugs in the traps is because I was successful in killing them all, Still, although I hope I've killed them all by spraying, and starving them to death by using bed bug proof mattress, and box spring covers, there is always the lingering dread that I may see them again in the future. So, these traps so far have just been for extra peace of mind.

These were much bigger than I expected, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it did make them a little tricky to place in the exact areas I originally had in mind. The pack includes four units, and it comes with a clear instruction manual that walks you through exactly how to use them. So far, I haven’t caught anything in them, so I can’t personally speak to their effectiveness just yet. However, I do understand the logic behind how they’re designed to work. I purchased these more as a preventative measure, especially since I occasionally have multiple children from different households in my home. I like to stay one step ahead when it comes to keeping our space protected. Overall, while I haven’t seen results yet, I can see the potential in how these could be very effective over time. 4 stars because the size didn’t work for me.

These are rather large in size being 6"x6." I hope they do the job and prevent the unwanted from climbing aboard. Outside wall is rough but the inner walls are slippery smooth which disallows anything to climb up its walls thus keeping anything off the box spring. Plenty of room in the center to allow for any kind of bed wheel or leg. Happy with purchase even though these are a bit expensive.
