Whirlwind of emotions reading this
Wow! I went through a whirlwind of emotions reading this book. The complexity in the characters and with each other was class writing! Loved it! Great storyline and I'm sure that readers will find a direct link somewhere in their own lives to that of one of the characters creating a true connection to the book. Another great book by Hoover!

Enjoyable story
Very enjoyable read, great flow, engaging until the end. Not the most exciting book I've read but a great twist early on and very thought provoking throughout. As a mother to only one daughter it really got me thinking about the dynamics in that relationship. I really enjoyed it and would recommend this book as an easy read.

OK but a little juvenile
A "nice" read but certainly not her best. A believable story and characters well developed. I actually liked all of them and was rooting for Clara and Miller, whilst feeling so sorry for Morgan and Joshua. Satisfactory ending but just left me feeling "Meh". Could have been a YA book. I've read a few of CH's but this was the weakest so far.

Its a good book, with a good story line. But I feel it'd be 5 stars if she had explored the relationship between the sister and the husband and also if she would have read the letters
