It achieves its small size by using state-of-the-art components. It has been designed for use with; LiftMaster dip-switch receivers. CODING Access to the remote's toggle code switch is achieved by unscrewing the back cover. Set the NINE-digit toggle code switch to match the code set in the receiver. Move switches using a small pointed object, such as a paper clip. Gently switch the small switches to either +, -, or Neutral positions. When complete screw the back cover back into position OPERATION Once the codes are set to match the transmitter codes, you may test the system. Ensure the gate or door is visible and clear before testing. Step 1- Push the remote's button from a distance of about ten feet. If the receiver activates, the switches are properly set. Step 2- Test the transmitter from several locations to discover any "blind spots" caused by interference. BATTERY ACCESS Unscrew the back cover to reach battery compartment. Be aware of battery polarity when replacing the A23 battery. The red indicator light is working so I know the battery is functioning, but it does not trigger the garage opener. I just saw a review from 2020 saying to try reversing the position of the first switch, but it will be a week before I am able to see if this works because it is for my Mom's house out of town.UPDATE: IT WORKED!!! :) So, to get it to work I programmed it the same as a working remote, but reversed the position of the #1 switch. Yes I used it correctly. Took out the paper allowing battery terminal contact. Set switches as marked on the gate. I even tried upside down and backwards dip switch combos but nothing. The red light on the remote works but the signal isn’t getting there from 5 feet away.
