Alp-tastic! A must have for snowy holidays!
Used these on a recent trip to Switzerland in the snow whilst recovering from a broken ankle and they were an absolute godsend!! Gave me enough confidence to walk comfortably in the snow, fitted easily over my mammut snow boots and were quick to put on and take off. The wee bag is handy too for putting them in when changing terrain. Really pleased with this purchase, they were charging 3 times a much in local shops for a similar product.

Very good product great in icy weather saved my ass a couple of times my friend now want some as they were going all over the place in the recent bad weather only could be made in XXL size as well but XL is good for sizes up to 12 man's shoe

Let it snow!
I'm not an expert on crampons, but these spikes look like they mean business, and will handle anything the uk can throw at them.No nonsense kit is what I like.The bands feel strong pulling them over the toes and up the heal of my walking boots.Chains fit is snug and the teeth look like they have the bite of a crocodile. I just need some hard pack to try these out properly.Pleased with the purchase.

Well made
I can't comment how they perform in the snow and ice. We didn't get any, my comments are purely about design. They are very well made and seem to live up to the the speil in there description. The rubber is of a good quality. The chains look strong enough and spikes seem to be a good length for digging into the snow.

Odd Pair Problem
Unfortunately the two crampons supplied are not the same. One (on my right foot) is fine. The other, (on my left foot) has a different chain/spike set-up and despite ad-hoc solutions constantly slips off the toe, although they still remain effective.It could be a manufacturing mistake.The usage is on very muddy paths so Covid-19 walks that remain in our city area can proceed without breaching Tier 4 regulations.
