I prefer to keep them clipped because it's a lot less upkeep and the rabbits seem much happier without their bulky coats. I was amazed at how smooth and easy these trimmers worked! They were lightweight and quiet, both my rabbits are young and had never been clipped with trimmers before and they had very little issue with these. The Laube Speed Feed Trimmer exceeded my expectations, they are worth every penny!To date, I have now used these trimmers on my long haired cat, we have a lot of burrs in the area and it gets very hot in the summer, he seems more comfortable with short hair. He actually purred while I took his coat off! Amazing! Also, I would highly recommend getting a can of compressed air to clean your trimmers, it works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dog Trimmer *by T***O on May 27, 2009* I really enjoy using the trimmer. My Lhatese is now sporting a shorter coat and in the Hawaii weather, it's cooler for her.
