I've noticed that the screen protectors are made differently now for the new phones which is more tempered glass versus the plastic. Not sure if that's the reason why this is not as dark as I would've liked. The quality of the privacy protector is pretty good as it is smooth to the touch and super clear. It does leave some finger prints behind but it's easy to wipe clean with the cloth included in the package. I really love the fact that it is a full screen protector with only one cut out at the top for the earpiece. So you can't even tell that it's on the phone. The privacy is mainly from the sides with a middle to low screen display brightness. Otherwise, you can somewhat see the screen from the sides if it's too bright. Top and bottom views have no privacy at all. I wish that was not the case. It also provides an excellent screen tint for privacy.Putting it on was super easy, no bubbles, and it’s a perfect fit to my iPhone XR. It comes with 2 in a package, and I highly doubt I’ll be needing my other one anytime soon.
