I think it is better suited for a table for cutting instead of a sewing machine. I will order the one that comes in a film that you can mold to the sewing machine instead. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for textured machines, with a little work *by S***N on March 16, 2017* I have a machine with a textured surface, so the cling type guide doesn't work for me. This seam guide is a hard plastic with a good amount of flex. It has to be fastened to the machine bed and I chose to use blue painter's tape instead of the adhesive included. My machine is a Pfaff and the storage tray and bobbin access are on the front. Rather than remove and replace this every time I needed to get into the bobbin or storage, I chose to place it then use a sharp utility knife to cut it along the lines of the machine. I carefully taped along all of the edges so it doesn't catch on anything or move around.
