MFSX is a fantastic flight simulator and I play for the past 6 years and now when I can. I only wish Microsoft would create a Google Earth update to the global flight map and make it with a higher resolution. There are several MFS CDs and add ware which are sold and several do add new definition to the game however many of the ground enviroments contradict the ground truth or are sometime generically inaccurate. For instance the L.A. highway system is screwed up and contradicts the night over flight. Streets overlap buildings and builds sprout out of the ground hap-hazardly. Another flop in question being, Ground Environment X North America. If you can't put in the University of Notre Dame's Golden Dome, Library or Football field, plus update or better define other significant city structures, housing differences from east coast from west coast, not to mention land marks or updated cities, I don't know what is meant by their advertising statements. Update: Recently the same company has come out with MORE and BETTER Flight realism CDs!!!!! Tbe new North America is better...however no Notre Dame Golden Dome.... I guess they read my review. The Best upgrade I have seen and installed on my MFSX is "Flight Environment X." It has so many unbelievably accurate Sky and Water environments to choose from it truly make MFSX an even better experience. It is made from a German Company but I have had no issues or glitches on my Microsoft HP desktop. I felt mehh, looking at the difference of the FSX global texture.
