My guess is pretty small. You have to manually switch it on to choose the length of time "0N" option you want. There is no delay until the "ON" time you have selected starts, it is instant. The switch then turns off. The "repeat" function in effect means that if you choose say 30 mins of "ON" time, the switch can remember that selection for the next time you go to press the power button.
