I ordered this as a replacement stop light switch on my Mercedes W140 which has a common failure mode with these wearing out over several years of pressing the brake pedal.  Installation of the replacement part was easy, and although this wasn't the fix for the failure mode I was experiencing, I immediately noticed better response and tension from the brake pedal.  I would recommend this as an OEM replacement for any W140 series.
