When I saw this 214 page soft cover book (2,001 most useful Spanish Words: by Pablo Garcia Loaeza, Ph.D. Dover language guide) on Amazon for a bargain price I purchased it. I just started reading this book and found it to be easy to understand and a very practical guide to learning Spanish. I am using this book along with the handouts the teacher gives us in Spanish class. One of the things I really like about this book is the way it is organized. The introduction provides basic information on Spanish dialects and a pronunciation guide. The alphabetical section begins from A to Z combining how to use the word in a sentence and what it means in English. The next section is the category section and covers specific Spanish words for animals, the body, clothes, colors, the family, food, numbers and other words. The final section explains Spanish grammar rules. The combination of learning from a Spanish teacher and reading this book I am making good progress in mastering Spanish. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J.
